Hey everyone! Today I have a review, swatches, and three looks using the MAC x Patrickstarrr Floral Realness Full Face Kit in Me So Chic. This limited edition collection is the second collaboration between MAC and Patrickstarrr. I wasn't really feeling Patrickstarrr's first collection since it felt just too neutral but when I saw the Floral Realness collection and the purple tones, it was just so gorgeous.

I loved that Patrickstarrr did two versions with color while also balancing brightness. The Me So Chic Kit has purples in the quad with pinks and peaches in the lip and face products to contrast. The Me So Fleek Kit has brighter pink, purple, and blue together and I think you would be able to find one collection to suit your style.

Each limited edition kit comes with a full sized Eyeshadow Quad, Lipstick, Lipglass, and Powder Blush Duo.

MAC x Patrickstarrr Floral Realness Full Face Kit in Me So Chic

The Me So Chic Kit retails for $49.50. You can get it at MAC, Nordstrom, and Saks Fifth AvenueAn excellent value if you wanted several products at once, probably not as appealing if you wanted to buy products individually.

Inside the Me So Chic Kit is the Eyeshadow x 4 in Stay With Me contains Daddystarrr, Yesss, Queen Patrick, and Bon Nuit, Lipstick in Sweet Mamastarrr, Lipglass in Mamastarrr Kiss, and Powder Blush Duo in I'm Not Blushing. The Powder Blush Duo actually is made up of two permanent shades, Peaches and Gingerly but the rest of the colors appear to be exclusive to the collection.

Packaging:

The packaging is really beautiful, matte pink with gold accents and a floral kalediscope design. Wonderful for spring and matches the colors inside perfect.

Formula/Review:

The Lipstick in Sweet Mamastarrr is described as a "midtone neutral pink".

MAC Sweet Mamastarrr

This ends up pulling a little more coral on my lips, but there's still a lot of pink in the formula. This is in the "Amplified" finish, which promises "a smooth glide, bold colour payoff, full coverage and a semi-lustrous finish". I agree that it's super smooth and easy to apply with good pigmentation. It's got a creamy finish so it has some shine in the formula so it is more forgiving that a straight up matte formula.

The Lipglass in Mamastarrr Kiss is described as a "sheer nude with pearl".

MAC Mamastarrr Kiss

I've really been enjoying the look of glossy lip products lately which is an interesting change in light of how liquid lipsticks have been dominating the beauty scene for the last few years. The Lipglass is a slightly tacky formula that still manages to feel smooth on the lips and adds a bit of hydration. It's excellent to pair with your favorite lip liners since it's so sheer or it can be worn on its own.

Powder Blush Duo in I'm Not Blushing.

MAC I'm Not Blushing

I'm Not Blushing is described as a "pure peach" and "capri bronze".

Like I said above, the duo is comprised of Peaches (the peach) and Gingerly (the bronze). I think both colors were an excellent decision to include in the collection since the peachy tones offset the purple quite nicely. These are described as having a Satin and Matte finish respectively though the permanent versions tout a Sheertone finish. I'm not too familiar with MAC blushes to know if these are drastically different from the permanent ones. They apply smoothly and blend out well. In the set, this was probably my favorite item and made the kit worth it for me.

The Eyeshadow x 4 in Stay With Me

MAC Stay With Me Quad

The quad has Daddystarrr (a muted baby pink with pearl), Yesss (a midtone dusty violet), Queen Patrick (a bright purple), and Bon Nuit (a black purple). The formula for these eyeshadows are a little firmer, not too soft that they end up kicking up a lot of powder or having a lot of fall out. These tend to swatch more poorly than they apply; the two bottom purples (Queen Patrick and Bon Nuit) needed more help to build up in color compared to the top two (Daddystarrr and Yesss).

Swatches

Here are swatches of the lipstick, lipglass, eyeshadow quad, and blush on my arms.

I'm wearing the Eyeshadow x 4 in Stay With Me in the swatch photos and the look was based off the face chart/look that Patrickstarrr did in his video of the collection.

Daddystarrr broadly in the crease and lower inner third of the eyelid, Yesss concentrated in the crease and outer corner and lower middle third, and Queen Patrick applied wet as a liner and on the lower outer third.
Stila Shimmer and Glow Liquid Eyeshadow in Grace applied in the inner third of the eyelid.

Conclusion:

I'm easily able to create multiple looks with everything in the kit and the colors work to compliment each other without looking too monochromatic. I think it's a great value and way to get a look together without overthinking it. The kit was worth it to me with just the powder blush duo and lipstick alone, much less you get the lipglass and eyeshadow quad.

Have you seen this collection? What are your thoughts on the colors?
