June 2016 Beauty Favorites

Hey everyone!

Today I'll be talking about my June 2016 Beauty Favorites, items that I enjoyed using heavily during the month of June. I have
a mix of face, eye, lip, and body products that I used throughout the month. Some of these items I have reviewed so I'll link to the reviews and just provide an overview.

Click through to read why I enjoyed each item for June!

Face Products:

Jouer Matte Moisture Tint, Make Up For Ever Step 1 Skin Equalizer Mattifying Primer, and Sephora Bright Future Gel Serum

Jouer Matte Moisture Tint. I reviewed this earlier on the blog. It's a lightweight light-medium coverage tint that I've been preferring for lighter wear. I find I still need to set with powder to make it last all day but it still looks good on my skin.

Make Up For Ever Step 1 Skin Equalizer Mattifying Primer. An absolute must for me having oily skin. It's completely necessary for the summer months, especially now that I've moved to an area that's much warmer. It helps extend the wear of all face products I wear on top. It's also silicone free if you're someone who reacts poorly to silicone. The only thing I hate is the packaging, the nozzle tip is much too narrow to squeeze out the primer easily in my opinion.

Sephora Bright Future Gel Serum Concealer in Tatin. I first heard about this concealer from Karen/Makeup and Beauty Blog where she gave it a rave review on her blog and her Youtube. It's a lightweight concealer that comes in a great variety of shades. I use this primarily for undereye concealing. I get about medium coverage from the concealer.

Eye Products:

Essence Make Me Brow in Browny Brows

Essence Make Me Brow in Browny Brows. I've reviewed this earlier on the blog. Long story short, if you're looking for an ashy dark brown brow gel then you will absolutely love this. I don't look to it for strong hold but to add fullness and oomph to my brows.

Lip Products:

Jouer Long-Wear Lip Creme Liquid Lipstick in Lychee, Lancome Juicy Shaker in Walk the Lime, and Skinfix Lip Repair Balm.

Jouer Long-Wear Lip Creme Liquid Lipstick in Lychee. I haven't reviewed this specific color but I do have a review of another color from the line. So far, I really like that Lychee is a darker pink while Dulce de Leche is a lighter pink. It's a comfortable matte feeling liquid lipstick that does not feel tacky at all. It's been selling out very quickly because it's got such a good formula!

Lancome Juicy Shaker in Walk the Lime. I've reviewed this earlier on the blog. I think this is a polarizing product, either you love the texture or you hate it. If you're into lip oils or a slipperyish feeling lip product, you will probably like it. Granted a lot of the appeal is in the packaging but it's just so easy to apply and the light color is great for summer!

Skinfix Lip Repair Balm. On the top of slipperyish lip products, this has been my favorite lip balm for the past several months. I'm personally into petroleum-based lip balms and so this lip balm is perfect for me. It's also got coconut oil to actually aid in moisturizing my lips while the petroleum helps to act as a barrier to the hot weather. If you're into waxy lip balms, you won't like this but if you're into petroleum-based lip balms, it's great!

Body Products:

Skinfix Ultra Rich Hand Cream

Skinfix Ultra Rich Hand Cream. This hand cream seems quite innocuous but if you're someone who has to wash their hands throughout the day (healthcare workers, food service workers), you need this hand cream. Like the name says, it's a rich hand cream but what I love about it is that it squeezes out super easy. I hate how so many rich hand creams or hand butters are too thick but this has a lighter consistency while still managing to moisturizer my skin. Get it, you'll thank me later.

These were my favorites for the month. What were your some of your favorites this month?
Disclaimer: I received the Skinfix Ultra Rich Hand Cream and Lip Repair Balm, Jouer Matte Moisture Tint, Essence Make Me Brow, and Make Up For Ever Step 1 Equalizer Mattifying Primer courtesy of Generation Beauty and The Makeup Show LA.
