Shopping My Silver-Taupe Stash FOTD

In an attempt to stave off my desire to buy every eyeshadow I come across (I'm talking to you Fyrinnae with your shiny sparkly goodies), I'm trying to shop my stash to get reacquainted with some of my prior loves. I rediscovered my Urban Decay Cream Shadow in Mushroom (gorgeous color but finicky application which explains why I got it on sale) and my GOSH Cosmetics Glamorous Eyeshadow in Grey Brown and used both of them in the look.

Also, I want to direct you to an interview I did on Powderdoom! I've mentioned Powderdoom once or twice on the blog before as one of my favorite makeup inspiration tumblrs and I was so excited about doing an interview. Please check out the interview and their tumblr!

  1. Mai, you know its funny you say that about the UD cream shadow. I felt the same way. I'm not a big fan of the application. It's sticks where it wants and then I always find myself applying another layer of it just to get it even enough for an eyeshadow to layer on top of it.

I got it on sale too so it's not too bad but I can't imagine being to happy with it at full price. LOVE the look btw. You can never go wrong with taupe.

    1. I'm glad you felt the same way about it. I'm not all too surprised that it didn't apply well because I figured there had to be a reason why it went on sale!
